Stars Under The Stars
"Stars Under the Stars" is an annual fundraising event intended to promote, advocate, and draw awareness to music education. All funds produced by this event will be utilized for music education scholarships to be awarded in the following academic year. Director's Choice Foundation for Music Education's Board of Directors along with respectable members and volunteers of the community prepare year round to host this event.
The evening will offer West Texans an exceptional opportunity to enjoy live music that is exceptional and unique to the south plains. During the event, guests will feast on plentiful hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, sodas, and bottled water. A chance to participate in prize drawings, an online silent auction will be available for additional appeal. Following the concert performances, an afterglow jam session will be sponsored for interested music enthusiasts.
Contributors include local and national businesses that underwrite expenses to assure the maximum support will be realized for scholarships. In addition, the board of trustees and the membership of the organization work to for increased attendance, financial goal achievement, and on-site assistance.
In the pursuit of engaging the West Texas Community to join in this event, all music education advocates and individuals who appreciate and value music are invited to get involved. Individuals and businesses are encouraged to become an event sponsor, volunteer for a committee, or simply be in attendance.
